An easy, energizing snack!
Serves: 6, Prep Time: 5 minutes, Total Time: 15 minutes.
1 ½ lbs. cashews
2 tsp. cumin seeds
½ tsp. cayenne
1 tbs. dark brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tbs. butter (melted) or coconut oil / ghee
Bake cashews on 1 large baking sheet for 10 minutes at 375°F. Shake pan once or twice.
Warm a small skillet over medium high. Add cumin seeds. Toast, shaking pan constantly until seeds are darkened for around 1 minute. When cooled, chop finely on a cutting board.
Combine seeds, cayenne, brown sugar, salt, and butter in a large bowl. Add warm cashews. Stir. Let cool and serve.
