A delicious drink with tons of health benefits!
Serves: 1, Prep Time: 2 minutes, Total Time: 5 minutes.
1 cup coconut milk or unsweetened almond milk
1 tsp. almond or coconut oil
½ tsp. ground turmeric
Big pinch freshly ground pepper
1 small (¼ inch) pieced ginger root
1 big pinch or sprinkle ground cardamom
1 big pinch ground cinnamon
¼ tsp. natural sweetener
Blend or whisk all ingredients together, then warm through on the stove over medium heat for 15 minutes. Let it very gently simmer for 15 minutes but not boil.
You can blend the ingredients manually by hand or in a high-speed blender for a frothier drink.
Add natural sweetener if using. Sweetener suggestions: raw honey or monk fruit (optional).
