Instant Pot Shredded Chicken Breast

Quick and easy!

Serves: 4, Prep Time: 3 minutes, Total Time: 15 minutes.


  • 4 chicken breasts or thighs

  • Taco seasoning (link below)

  • 1 cup chicken stock


  1. Rub chicken breasts in taco seasoning.

  2. Add 1 cup water or chicken broth and trivet.

  3. Then lay chicken breasts or thighs on top. You can add as many as fit into a single layer. You do not want to stack them on top of each other, I usually do 4-6.

  4. Seal the pot and cook on High pressure for 10-15 minutes.

  5. Then Quick Release the pressure and wait 10 minutes until ready.
