Mushroom Gravy

A yummy mushroom gravy!















Serves: 8, Prep Time: 15 minutes, Total Time: 15 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp. olive oil

  • ½ cup chopped onions

  • 1 tsp. dried thyme

  • ¼ tsp. salt

  • 8 oz. sliced mushroom

  • 1 cup dry sherry (optional)

  • 3 cups vegetable broth

  • 2 cups water

  • 2 tbsp. ghee

  • 1 ½ tsp. arrowroot flour


Directions

  1. Saute onions in ghee (about 5 minutes).

  2. Add seasoning and mushrooms. Add sherry and cook until liquid evaporates.

  3. Stir in broth. Bring to a boil.

  4. Reduce heat to simmer and cook for about 14 minutes until liquid is reduced.

  5. Stir flour and water together. Whisk until thick.
