Did Your 20/20 Vision Get a Little Blurry?

2020 may have been about a clear vision. Did you want to become focused on your 20/20 Vision? Well, change is inevitable. We learned to slow down, build our resilience, put health as a priority, and have faith. We are still learning in 2021.

First, you need to take stock of your life and pantry. To get to where you want to go, you need to know your currency.

A Recipe for Creating Intentions that are Sustainable Through Adversity:

Guarantee: It will change. Change is inevitable, but growth is optional. To have a growth mindset even through adversity, you must see the value in yourself to add value to yourself, your life, and others. When we fear change, we limit the possibilities. Create a healthy atmosphere to welcome the change. The trees that bend down against the storm survive while those that try to stand erect get uprooted.

Set your intentions in a place of non-judgment and self-love. The average person has an estimated 70,000 thoughts per day! Think for a moment about those comments that run around in your head. If you struggle with this piece, write some of your negative inner dialogue, and let go of what is not serving you. Cross it out and follow it up with a positive comment.

It is a process.

· Celebrate Your Successes. I believe this is essential work to do daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly. Do you think about what is right in your life? Positive reviews boost your mood, spirit, and tend to generate even more positivity and happiness in your life. Negative thoughts can create a domino effect of destructive energy. Falling into a spiral of negativity affects how you live your life and how others perceive you. Thankfully, you don't have to accept the negative internal chatter. Choose to switch to a happier perception and reach for better thoughts. It takes a little practice, but soon enough, your mind will gravitate to the brighter side of life.

· Take Stock of Your Life. We can't change what we don't look at in our life. Taking stock is not about analyzing or judging our life, ourselves, or others. It is about accepting what is and getting clear on our values, so we know where we would like to go. What are your core values? Do you know? If you're not sure, try taking a Personal Values Assessment. When you define your values, you discover what's truly important to you. The right way of starting to do this is to look back on your life – to identify when you felt outstanding and confident that you were making good choices.

· Letting Go of Limiting Beliefs

What are old beliefs? We have picked up beliefs about ourselves through our entire lives from what is said and not said to us. What is done or not done to us? We observe reactions to us. How can we change habits if we have set old ideas about ourselves? But despite this awareness, you might find it hard to challenge them. It's sometimes more comfortable to accept what you have believed for so long. We must let go to move forward. Replace beliefs that just aren't serving you anymore and rework them into supporting goals.

· Be a Visionary

Compiling your dream in the form of a vision board, journal, or retreat can be fun but also very effective at influencing your mind and harnessing your intention to bring about positive change. These all can strengthen what you want from life and keep you moving in the direction you want to go. It is a road map, no matter how curvy or hilly it might appear.

Ride Like the Wind and Enjoy the journey!
